Hey everyone!
Remember how in How I Met Your Mother, Robin was so adamant on not getting married and being tied down, yet as the show progressed she eventually develops serious relationships and later DOES end up getting married? I mean, granted the marriage didn’t exactly hold up, but that’s not the point. I find it quite ironic how she claims she won’t get married, but ends up doing exactly that.
Well for me, sometimes I see myself in that way. I always say how I am against marriage, and how I don’t want to be tied down. But my mother always tells me I am too young to be making huge proclamations like that because never say never. HA! Yeah right. I’m very certain I won’t get married. Hold me accountable for those words, okay? You can say “I told you so” with my mother, if I end up doing exactly what I say I will never do.
Even so, I still can’t help but admire how absolutely gorgeous wedding gowns are. Sure, I can’t picture myself walking down the aisle all dolled up in one, but I still find them so breathtaking and beautiful regardless. Seriously, I would love to be like Vera Wang or something and be designing wedding gowns. An ironic career choice, but a great dream nonetheless.
