Heading out on a bucket list adventure is  more exciting than going on a normal vacation and there’s nothing better than ticking off the things you wanted most in your life. 
Sydney is a city in Australia that has it all– wonderful beaches,Guest Posting rich culture, amazing museums, coastal hikes, iconic landmarks, unbeatable views and lively city life. If you’re looking for some inspiration for your Sydney bucket list, here are a few suggestions. 

Cruise Around the Harbour

Surely you might have already boated across the harbour, hiked around it, kayaked in it, driven over it but have you ever set sail on a Sydney lunch cruise? Well put it on the list and make it a reality! 
It is the ultimate way you can enjoy a unique perspective of the city skyline and the harbour landmarks including world-famous the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It’ll definitely make you appreciate life and this incredible city even more! 
Enjoy a lunch cruise on numerous popular vessels including a modern catamaran, luxury glass boat and a unique paddlewheeler and enjoy a fun yet calm experience on the waterfront! Cruising around the harbour for a couple of hours is a great way to sightsee some of the city’s top attractions and it doesn’t need to break your budget either!

Blue Mountain Exploration

Blue Mountains is definitely one of the attractions in Sydney which is hard to pass up. Located just west of the harbourcity, this mountain range is filled with over a hundred hiking trails and dozens of camping grounds! 
While you can easily explore it on your own car the best and most effective way to enjoy it is on a hop on hop off bus which circles around the mountain. 
The Three Sisters rock formation is one of the highlights of the mountain where you can enjoy epic views of the horizon and the surrounding scenic landscape. 
Other attractions include the Wentworth Falls, Grand Canyon Trail, Red Hands cave and a hidden underground cave where you can sight glowing worms! You will also most likely come across some of the nation’s friendly critters including kangaroos and wallabies.
 

Endless fun at Luna Park

Luna Park is arguably the most iconic amusement park in Australia and it resides in Sydney, located on the northern shore of the harbour. It is a place for people of all ages and is an ideal spot  to enjoy a family day out, so if you feel young at heart this is definitely one of the things you should add to your bucket list. 
Once you get past the renowned grinning moon face of the park, you will experience numerous thrilling roller coasters, other high-adrenaline  rides, friendly rides and carnival games. 
If you visit right before the sun goes down, you can get the privilege of enjoying the iconic sunset,overlooking the harbour.

Often referred to as the Central Park of Sydney, Hyde Park is one of the oldest parks in the country and is a famous recreational spot with benches, shaded pathways, fountains, statues and also houses the impressive Anzac war memorial with a museum adjoining it. 
Next to the park you can also spot the splendid St. Mary’s Cathedral which has a free entry every day of the week. Built in 1868, this gothic-style cathedral is a popular tourist attraction with impressive architecture which includes huge organ pipes, incredible stained-glass windows and many interior altars and chapels. 
These two buildings are definitely worth your time and clicking a photo of both buildings’ facade is a great addition to your bucket list.

2. Sydney Harbour Bridge

Create an experience to remember by taking a slow stroll across the very famous Harbour Bridge.

There is a pedestrian walkway on the eastern side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge that offers some of the best views of Sydney Harbour. Access to the walkway is completely free!
It’s 1.5km one way, and takes roughly 15-30 minutes, depending on how many times you stop to take photos.

We walked the from one side of the bridge to the other, stopping to admire the Opera House and Circular Quay on the way. On our return, the sun began to set. It was certainly one of the most memorable moments in Sydney. 
However, if you want to push it even further, you can try the bridge climbing experience!

3. Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is arguably the most famous beach in the world.
You’ll have to get up early if you want to experience some quiet time at the empty beach, because during the day, this stretch of coastline packs out to the max.
Bondi Beach is popular for surfers, morning joggers and of course tourists as soon as the sun comes out! You may even want to book a Bondi Beach Surf Lesson!
There’s so much to see and do in the Bondi area, which makes it undoubtedly one of most important things to add to your Sydney bucket list.

4. Bondi to Coogee Coastal Trail

The Bondi to Coogee walk is one of the most popular scenic routes in the country. With locals and tourists flocking daily, it makes for an awesome day out with breathtaking views.
We started the walk bright and early to avoid the tourist rush throughout. It was an enjoyable way to start the day, passing only joggers and early morning dog walkers. 
It’s a fairly flat and straight forward walk, sticking to the coast with slight up hill walks in parts.
It takes roughly 2 hours without stops! Although you’ll probably want to dip in the baths/ocean along the way and take plenty of photos.
We saw Sydney in a completely different light on the Bondi To Coogee coastal walk, and we definitely recommend you experience this side of Sydney.

5. Bronte Baths

Bronte Baths Sydney is sheltered from the ocean, yet still filled with its salty waves. It’s an ideal place to go for dip anytime from sunrise through to sunset.
The pool is big enough for those advanced swimmers to practise their lengths, and also shallow enough in parts for families to take their youngsters.
If you take the plunge at Bronte Baths, we must warn you that the temperature may just take your breath away. It’s pretty damn cold but too refreshing not to take a dip.

6. Bronte Baths Viewpoint

Stop for a spot of lunch overlooking the whole of Bronte Beach. It was one of our favourite places in Sydney, which is why we highly recommend you to add it to your Sydney bucket list.
The colours of blue compliment the coastline from above and this viewpoint seems to be a pretty popular Instagram spot in Sydney. 
Simply head to the end of the walk way past the Bronte Baths and climb up the rocks to find it!
Bronte Baths is similar to the very popular Bondi Icebergs Pool, although this gem is completely free.
It’s also a great alternative to spend the day with friends and watch the waves crash against the rocks, whilst soaking in the Australian sun.

7. Mrs Macquaries Chair

Depending on timing, this spot may come before or after your walk around the city.
Either way though, Mrs Macquaries Chair is a great spot for sunset!
To reach Mrs Macquaries Chair you’ll want to head back towards Circular Quay. From Circular Quay there’s a beautiful walk through the Botanical Gardens that you follow to get there.
It’s normal to find a gathering of people around the rocks at golden hour, because it gives a great view of both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

8. Visit George Street

Aside from the beaches, and iconic landmarks, Sydney is also know for it’s huge city and stunning skyscrapers.
We believe there’s nothing more epic than wandering beneath mile high buildings with no end in sight. A Sydney bucket list wouldn’t be complete without taking in the beauty of the city.
George Street is the main street leading through the centre of Sydney’s CBD. There are an abundance of shops, malls and souvenirs stalls.
However, just around the corner is Darling Harbour. Easily walkable to, it’s more of the fine dining area of Sydney and is another beautiful spot to enjoy dinner with a view.

9. Luna Park

Popular for people of all ages, Luna Park is the most iconic amusement park in Australia.
Full of rides and attractions, you’re guaranteed an evening of fun. Plus, come sundown you’ll have spectacular views of Sydney Harbour lit up at night.
So if you’re young at heart, this is certainly one of the most important things to add to your Sydney bucket list.
Book your Luna Park Unlimited Rides Pass in advance and get unlimited access to all the rides and attractions of Luna Park!
Just be sure to check the closing times before you make the journey. It’s usually 4pm Mon-Thur, and 10pm Fri-Sat.

10. Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains National Park is an absolutely huge region of mountain ranges and even villages. There are endless trails, waterfalls and viewpoints scattered throughout.
The best option for visiting the Blue Mountains is to rent a car for the day. That way you can explore the region at ease as there’s a lot of grounds that you can cover.
It is possible to take a train from the city – the train from Central Station in Sydney takes approximately 2 hours to reach the mountains, and costs roughly $6.80 each way using an Opal card.
There’s also the option of the Blue Mountains Hop on Hop off pass.
The most famous tourist attraction are the three sisters, which you’ll likely want to take photos of. However, Lincoln’s Rock is also an unbelievably breathtaking viewpoint.
Although it’s a good hour drive from the city, it’s definitely top of most tourists Sydney bucket list.
