2. Consuming plenty of fluids is considered to be one the most efficient home remedies for viral fever. Hot soup, fruit juice, water and light tea can soothe your throat and reduce fever cough.

3. Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol. In case of blocked nose you can inhale eucalyptus oil and remember to cover your mouth and nose with hanky while coughing or sneezing.

4. In order to prevent viral fever you can try consuming a healthy diet on daily basis. Exercise regularly and take adequate sleep.
