Hey everyone!

Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite go-to outfits. This is the perfect lazy day outfit because, ironically enough, it does not look lazy. In fact, you will look like you made an effort.

Whenever I’m just getting no inspiration, or have no idea what to wear, I usually would reach for a skirt. I always have a few no-fail outfits to fallback on whenever necessary. Skirt and jacket combos are definitely on the list.

Here, I chose to wear a plain black top with a black bodycon skirt over sheer black tights. Because it is all monochrome in black, it gives the illusion that you know what you’re doing when in fact you are just too lazy to bother with patterns.

I added a cozy printed knit cardigan because it’s cold in the fall, and the cardigan adds some pizzazz to the outfit. Printed cardigans are the epitome of fall for me. They are super easy to style, and are very comfortable to wear.

As it isn’t warm enough with just the cardigan, I added a black leather jacket as well. This really ties it all together and makes you look like you put in effort. Honestly, one big secret I got for all you lazy people out there, just pulling on a nice leather jacket can make you look instantly put together. A good fitting leather jacket can really give that necessary oomph to an outfit.

I threw on my trusty everyday black boots because they are comfy and works with almost everything I own. Shoulder my black leather backpack and I’m ready for class!
